1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using CaliMoney, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by Italian law.
2. Service Description
CaliMoney is a personal finance tracking application available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It allows users to record, categorize and analyze financial movements. A Free tier and a Pro subscription tier are offered.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter. You must keep your account credentials and encryption passphrase (if enabled) secure. You must not use the service for illegal purposes, attempt to reverse-engineer the application, or interfere with other users' accounts.
5. Pro Subscription
The Pro plan unlocks additional features including AES-256-GCM encryption, unlimited categories and annual statistics. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period. Prices are listed in EUR and include applicable VAT.
6. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for the Pro plan. At the end of the trial, billing begins automatically unless you cancel before the trial expires.
7. Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@calimoney.it within 14 days.
8. Data and Encryption
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter. If you enable end-to-end encryption and lose your passphrase, your encrypted cloud data becomes permanently unrecoverable. CaliMoney cannot restore encrypted data on your behalf.
9. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen outages may occur. The offline-first architecture means the app remains functional without internet connectivity.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaliMoney and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on app data.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
