How to filter movements by type, category, month and tag
The Movements list page supports multiple filters to help you quickly find transactions of interest.
Filter by type
Use the buttons at the top of the list to show only Income, Expenses or Investments. Select multiple types at once or deselect all to see the full list.
Filter by category
Open the Filter categories menu and select one or more categories. The list updates immediately showing only matching movements.
Filter by month
The month selector at the top filters movements for the selected month. Choose All months to view the entire history.
Filter by tag
Once some movements carry tags, Filters → Tag shows only the movements with one tag. Show movements on the Tags page opens the list with this filter set, across your whole history. Search also finds tags — type #lisbon or just lisbon.
Resetting filters
Tap Reset filters to return the list to its initial state (all movements, no active filters).
Long lists
A long list — a busy year, or a search across your whole history — shows its first 100 movements and adds more as you scroll towards the end. If more don't appear on their own, tap Show more movements. Search and filters always cover every movement, not just the ones shown.
Going back to the list
Open a movement from the list and go back (the arrow at the top, your browser's back, or after deleting it): the list comes back with the same search and filters. Opening the list from the bottom bar or More starts clean.
Combined behavior
Filters combine with AND logic: if you select "Expenses" and the category "Rent", you will only see expenses in the Rent category.
