Add a movement in two taps
Record a coffee before you forget it: an iPhone Shortcut, a home-screen shortcut or an NFC tag that opens CaliMoney with the amount and description already filled in.
The expense you don't write down within the minute is often the one you never write down. CaliMoney can open its Add screen already filled in, so recording it costs two taps: run the shortcut, tap Save.
The quick way: long-press the icon
With CaliMoney installed on your home screen, long-press its icon: Add expense and Add income open the form on the right type.
iPhone and iPad: a Shortcut
- Open the Shortcuts app and tap +.
- Add Ask for Input: type Number, prompt Amount.
- Add another Ask for Input: type Text, prompt Description.
- Add URL Encode and pick the description you just asked for.
- Add URL and type
https://www.calimoney.it/add?amount=, then insert the Amount variable, type&desc=, then insert the URL Encoded Text variable. - Add Open URLs.
- Name it (e.g. Coffee) and, from its menu, Add to Home Screen. You can also run it from Siri or the Action button.
Want a fixed category? Add &category=Bar at the end of the URL — use the name exactly as it appears in your categories. For income, add &type=incomes.
Android: a shortcut or an NFC tag
- Home-screen shortcut: any "URL shortcut" launcher action, or an automation app, can open a link like
https://www.calimoney.it/add?category=Bar. - NFC tag: write the same link on a tag with an NFC app and stick it by the coffee machine or in the car — touching it with the phone opens the form.

What it never does
- It never saves on its own: you always see the form and tap Save.
- It doesn't guess: a category or account it can't find for sure is left empty for you to pick.
- It doesn't leave traces: the amount and description are removed from the address as soon as the app opens. If the app is locked, they wait until you unlock it.
